Terms and Conditions

Please read and understand our Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to guarantee your booking. You will be sent an invoice as soon as your order has been confirmed. Cheques to be made payable to: Elegant Events.

2. The balance is required to be paid 4 weeks prior to the event.

3. Final numbers need to be made clear to Elegant Events 2 weeks prior to the event. We will allow for slight adjustments to your original estimate as we understand that it is difficult to predict exact guest numbers before this time. We are usually able to accommodate increases on original estimates. If numbers are largely increased at the last minute we can not guarantee that we can accommodate.

4. In the event of cancellation you may cancel up to 8 weeks prior to the event; if any money has been paid it will be refunded minus the £100 deposit. In the event of cancellation within 8 weeks prior to the event no refund will be made.

5. The final number of hired items fitted and installed at your venue is the number that we expect to collect after your event. On collection if any hired items are missing or badly damaged then we will inform your venue and you will be issued with an invoice to replace missing or damaged items at costs of; £10 per chair cover, £3 per sash, £8 per table runner and other items charges are available on request.

6. All laundering of hired items is included in all our prices. We do take into consideration that light stains can incur from food, drink and light scuff marks from shoes. However, if upon inspection after your event we find that irreversible damage through mistreatment has been caused to our hired items, e.g. rips, footprints, drawings, cigarette burns, candle wax and excessive food and drink stains, then this will result in Elegant Events issuing an invoice to replace damaged stock.

7. Elegant Events will not be liable should any injury or expense occur as a result of the use of our products.

8. At all times during your event the hired items remain the property of Elegant Events.

9. Payment of your deposit and signature on your booking form is deemed as you having read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions of hire. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like clarification on any of the above items, Tel: 07894 586868.

10. Please do not provide children with pens and pencils as they tend to draw on the covers.

Declaration

I declare that I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions of hire and that I shall be responsible for all hired items. Elegant Events will not accept booking forms from customers that have not signed the Terms and Conditions.
